Arnold J. Matyas brings a unique and valuable collection of expertise to the CFL Commercial Team at TRAX Commercial Group.
Formerly a commercial and residential interior designer and home furnishings retailer for more than 25 years, his specialized training enables him to offer, as a benefit to sellers, a unique marketing approach in the real estate environment.
Matyas combines his responsibilities as Broker of TRAX Commercial Group with commercial real estate and business brokerage sales, investment real estate, leasing, and marketing, in Florida, Georgia and the Southeast, with focused emphasis in Central Florida.
He studied English and journalism at the University of Florida and interior design through the Chicago School of Interior Decoration and Design. He has completed lighting design and graphics arts studies at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and Florida State University. He earned his real estate Brokers license through studies at the Institute of Florida Real Estate Careers and continues to complete CEU studies among which include business brokerage, real estate investment, 1031 exchanges and brokerage management.
Prior to the acquisition of Vance Realty Group by Prudential Florida Realty,in 2006, Matyas was Vance’s broker of record, president and partner with his wife Barbara Vance. A real estate marketing company, CLF Commercial Group, LLC, of which Matyas is a partner, was offered an opportunity to joint venture with TRAX Captial Management in a partnership that brought Matyas to TRAX Commercial Group.
As a Certified Commercial Investment Member candidate (CCIM) Matyas also holds active membership in National Association of Realtors (NAR) Florida Association of Realtors (FAR), Orlando Regional Realtor Association (ORRA) , Central Florida Commercial Realtors Society (CFCRES), Business Brokers of Florida (BBF), International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and the Mergers and Acquisitions Source.
Matyas has closed single transactions in excess of $31 million and $25 million and proudly manages a list of both national and local clients who have sought his specialized knowledge in retail and office site leasing and sales as well as commercial investment and business brokerage sales and marketing.
